The Champions League is sold country by country, and 2026-27 is the last season of the current deals — so in several big markets it is split between two services, one of them holding the pick of each round.
How to watch the Champions League
Thirty-six clubs, one league table, eight matches each: the league phase runs from September to January, the knockout rounds from February to May, and the final is in Madrid on 5 June 2027. Across a season that is close to two hundred matches, and no broadcaster shows them in every country.
What varies is how each market has been cut. In the United States one service, Paramount+, has every match in English. In the United Kingdom TNT Sports has all but one match a round, because Prime Video takes the first-pick Tuesday game; Germany is split the same way between DAZN and Prime Video, and Italy between Sky and Prime Video. Mexico divides it by night — Tuesdays on HBO Max, Wednesdays on FOX One — while in Brazil every match is on HBO Max.
So the useful question is not "which app has the Champions League" but "which app has it where I am, and does my plan include the match I want". The table below answers the first half from each service's own published rights; each service page answers the second.

Watching the Champions League without problems
- Sign up the day before, not at kick-off. Account creation, card checks and the first app download all take minutes, and sign-up pages are at their slowest in the half hour before a big match.
- A steady connection beats a fast one. Each service publishes its own minimum speed for HD in its help pages, and 4K needs several times that. On Wi-Fi, sit near the router; on mobile data, set the app's quality before the match rather than during it.
- Streams run behind the TV broadcast. An app is often thirty seconds or more behind live TV and radio, so goal alerts from a score app can arrive before you see the goal — mute them for the ninety minutes.
- Plans cap how many screens play at once. The entry tier of most services allows one or two streams at the same time; check the plan before sharing an account in a household.
- Travelling changes what plays. Subscriptions are licensed per country. Inside the EU, the portability rules let residents use their home subscription while temporarily in another member state; outside it, expect the home app to be geo-blocked.
- Official apps only. Unofficial streams are unreliable, full of malicious ads and cut off mid-match. Every service on this page is the licensed holder in its own market.
Common questions
Is there one app with every Champions League match?
Only in some countries. Paramount+ has every match in the United States, Canal+ in France, Movistar Plus+ in Spain (with the Champions package), Ziggo Sport in the Netherlands, Stan Sport in Australia and beIN SPORTS across the Middle East and North Africa. In the UK, Germany and Italy one match a round is on Prime Video and the rest on TNT Sports, DAZN or Sky; in Mexico it is split between HBO Max and FOX One.
When and where is the 2027 Champions League final?
Saturday 5 June 2027 at the Estadio Metropolitano in Madrid. Paris Saint-Germain are the holders: they beat Arsenal on penalties in the 2026 final in Budapest.
Will the Champions League change channels next season?
2026-27 is the last season of the current rights cycle, and several markets change hands from 2027-28 — Germany moves to Paramount+ and Prime Video, and Mexico to Disney+. This page will follow the new deals when they start.
Can I watch the Champions League for free?
