Affiliate Disclosure

This page explains how sports24.us (including its subdomains, together the “Service”) earns money from some of the links it publishes, what that means for you, and what it does not change. It is written to meet the disclosure requirements of the Amazon Associates Program Operating Agreement and the U.S. Federal Trade Commission’s Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising (16 CFR Part 255). 1. The short version

As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Some links on this site go to Amazon.com. If you click one and buy something, Amazon may pay us a small commission. The price you pay is exactly the same as it would be without our link. Nothing we recommend is chosen because of the commission, and we say so wherever such a link appears.

2. Which links are affiliate links

sports24.us is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. Affiliate links on the Service are:

Prime Video and Prime Video Channels offers — the “Start your free trial” buttons in the how-to-watch sections of match, event and guide pages;
Physical products in our setup guides (phone-to-TV, watch party, phone battery), in the “kit” blocks on event pages, and in the records listed on music event pages;
any other link that opens Amazon.com and carries our Associates tag.

Every such link is marked rel="sponsored" in the page code, opens Amazon in a new tab, and stands next to the statement “As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.” We never hide an affiliate link behind a shortener of our own or behind wording that conceals where it goes: the link text names the product or the offer it leads to.

3. What “qualifying purchase” means

When you click an Amazon link on the Service, Amazon places a cookie in your browser on its own site. Purchases you make on Amazon within the period Amazon sets after that click (normally 24 hours) may earn us a commission — including items we did not link to. If you add an item to your cart in that window, the window for that item may be longer. Purchases made through your own Associates links, purchases by us, and orders that are cancelled or returned do not earn anything. Amazon decides what qualifies; we only see the outcome.

4. Prices, availability and where the links go

We do not publish Amazon prices. Amazon permits prices to be shown only when they come live from its own systems, so the price, availability and shipping you see on Amazon are the only ones that count. Where we describe a product we describe what its Amazon listing says, not a price.
Our links open Amazon.com, the United States store. If you shop in another country you may be redirected, or find that an item cannot be shipped to you. Prime Video trials, their length and their price are set by Amazon and vary by country and by account.
Product names, images and trademarks are the property of their owners. Amazon and the Amazon logo are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates. Product artwork on the Service is our own illustration, not Amazon’s catalogue photography.

5. Editorial independence

Which products and services we mention, and what we say about them, is decided by our editors. We include the caveats that could cost us a sale — the phone that will not output video, the projector that is too dim for a lit room, the listing that is a renewed unit — because a return earns nobody anything and a reader who was misled does not come back. Amazon does not review, approve or endorse our content, and nothing on the Service is a statement by Amazon.

6. Other advertising on the Service

Separately from affiliate links, the Service shows display advertising (Google AdSense, and on some sites Monetag). Those advertisements are labelled as advertising and are not endorsements. Our where-to-watch guides list broadcasters and streaming services on the basis of their published rights and prices; we are not affiliated with those broadcasters and do not resell their subscriptions. 7. What we learn about you

We receive only aggregate reports from Amazon: numbers of clicks, orders and commissions. We do not see who you are, what you bought, or your Amazon account. How Amazon handles data on its own site is described in the Amazon Privacy Notice; how we handle data on ours is in our Privacy Policy.
